Fall 2027 Provost Excellence Scholarship Application

The Provost Excellence Scholarship represents one of the University of Central Missouri’s highest levels of recognition for incoming students. This scholarship celebrates students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement, leadership, involvement, character, and the potential to make a meaningful impact at UCM and beyond.

The application is your opportunity to go beyond your academic record and tell us who you are, what you value, and what you will contribute to the Mule community.

Before beginning your application, please be prepared to submit:

• Current Resume — Highlight your academic accomplishments, leadership, employment, service, honors, and other experiences that have shaped you.
• Student Essay — How does your involvement at your school or in the community align with one or more of UCM’s Core Values?
• Video Submission — Bring your application to life by defining your Mule Moment! Use this opportunity to introduce yourself in a creative and authentic way and show us something we cannot learn from your written application. Tell us about your experiences, goals, values, and aspirations. Help us understand what motivates you and where you hope your UCM journey will take you.

Take your time. Be thoughtful. Be authentic. And let your accomplishments speak for themselves.

The Provost Excellence Scholarship application is more than a checklist of accomplishments. It is your chance to demonstrate the qualities that define an exceptional UCM student.
