Hometown: Machesney Park, Illinois Best advice for incoming students: Don’t let people talk you out of your dreams! You’ll come across people in your life that will ask you questions that make you second guess yourself. Just remember that your heart and brain know what is best for YOU! Seek advice from the professionals, not the opinionators! My favorite place on campus: The Student Rec Center! There is just about everything there - a place to grab a bite to eat, relax, or even go around the corner and to get a good workout. Why you should consider UCM: UCM has a ton of programs to choose from, and every single one of them have hands-on experience. You will not leave this University uneasy about what you’ve learned, because you will have already had hands-on experience with it, too! The best part is if you are still unsure, we have a program specialized in “unsure”! I wish I would have known: About all of the things that the Success Advising Center does. They are a great resource for just about everything when it comes to student life. They’re not just there to talk about your program, they’re there to talk about you! College Activities: Women’s Bowling, Student Jobs, Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)
